GEMS workshops bring together people interested in various aspects of graphs embedded on surfaces. The programme will consist of lectures presented by invited speakers and sessions of short contributed talks. Contributed talks should be related to one or more of the following topics:
- Embeddings of graphs on surfaces
- Orientable and non-orientable maps and hypermaps and their symmetries, regular maps and hypermaps
- Classifications and enumeration of maps and hypermaps
- Polyhedra and related concepts
- Dessins d'enfants
- Colorings of graphs on surfaces
- Algebraic, geometrical and computational methods in topological graph theory
- Applications of Fuchsian and Kleinian groups
- Regular tesselations of surfaces
- Group actions on graphs, maps, and hypermaps
- Representativity and graph minors
- Convex polytopes and polytopal graphs
